Similar to the way Sherman engulfs himself in his thoughts and instincts, his layered percussion and melodies beside his lyricism spur listeners to do the same. Upon reflection, the ‘Bones’ singer “wanted to create something people could just dance to… songs like this can make people feel stronger and happier”.
