GRAACE gets raw on ‘Hard To Say’

GRAACE restores vulnerability and introspection in pop on her newly released track Hard To Say. Featuring rapper I.E., the contrast between GRAACE’s hushed, delicate croons and I.E.’s slick vocal depth makes the collaboration alluring, displaying the versatility of fragility.

Hard To Say is a tribute track to a loved one of GRAACE’s, written “in the studio with one of my best friends. I lost someone very close to my heart over a year ago, and it’s something that I don’t talk about often but I felt like it was finally time to sing about him and bring light to the topic of mental health”, says the songstress.

Making herself and her identity as forthcoming and accessible through her broody songwriting style, GRAACE says, “It’s a beautiful thing to be able to sing your thoughts when you can’t fully articulate it in a normal conversation, because it can be so hard to grasp your feelings when you’re grieving.  I hope people who listen can know that they’re not alone and can see that everybody has somebody who has their back, whether it’s someone they’re close to or a stranger, like me”.
