Darwin’s DRAFTDAY shift direction on ‘Misspent’

DRAFTDAY up the ante on their latest single Misspent, exploring the turbulent, intrusive thoughts that infiltrate the mind after being hurt. With entrancing riffs that gain momentum through the song, and a driving drum line, Misspent is the most voracious offering from DRAFTDAY yet. 

“The lyrics are allowing childish, negative and self-centered thoughts to come out, it felt important to write something that showcased the not so ideal thoughts and words that we consider when adjusting to any form of loss,” said DRAFTDAY.

Accompanying the track is a self-directed and produced video, recruiting dark hues and chaotic creative choice to translate the angry, yet introspective sonic onto the screen.
