BEAU LIGHTNING: DON’T GET BIT

Beau Lightning affirms his turbulent, high energy brand of music in his latest single ‘Don’t Get Bit’. The fuelling track is just shy of three minutes, but does plenty through its psychedelic rock influence. Lightening’s sonics are loud and vivacious, yet well considered in their ability to elicit excitement among listeners.

Beau Lightning reflects on the track as “a fantasy about unrealistically rekindling a relationship you know was unhealthy and hurt you in the past, but still having the desire to see where it could go”.

His mindfulness in curating the sonic arrangement is clear as it remains harmonious with the message of the song. The production style hints at an aura of rebellion, fitting appropriately with the essence of the track. Lightning says, “[it] almost has a devil and angel sitting on each shoulder, the angel reminding you of all the ways you were hurt and the devil telling you, ‘remakes are never the same, so let’s just see how it’s going to go’.”
