Agoria releases intense video for ‘Call of the Wild’

Electronic producer Agoria shares his spooky video for ‘Call of the Wild’, featuring rapper STS. Directed by visionary French director Loïc Andrieu, the video centres around Jane, an enigmatic L.A.P.D rookie and her adventure whilst trapped into a police hazing ritual, being forced to face her power to dive into her death.

The cinematic and eery video, according to director Andrieu “is a female Orpheus myth. Death is the ultimate Pandora box. Dealing with it calls us to face inherent fears over the ‘unknown’. Jane breaks these boundaries and unveils the mysteries of the antechamber of death. Not dead yet, but no longer alive”. 

Shot in the dark night of Los Angeles, the video’s supernatural thriller theme sends goosebumps down the spines of viewers. STS’s threatening and sharp vocal is the perfect accompaniment to the chilling video.

The five and a half minute video is a complex commentary on power and death, and the trade-off between the two.
