MORETON: CIRCLES

Three years on from their first EP, Moreton have taken charge again with their newest single ‘Circles’. The track is solemn in its lyricism, with lead singer Georgia Moreton expressing the uncertain trajectory that life paves out for you. Bringing the poetic songwriting to life is Georgia’s moody and grave articulation of the lyrics. Her intricate vocal is matched with skilful guitar sections that guide the the course of the song.

The instrumentation has its own unique pang, swinging from soulful and soothing into a rougher, more charged end of the continuum. The versatility of the guitar constructs a climax into the hook and bridge of the track, illuminating Georgia’s vocals.
